To avoid the long crossings from Gujan-Mestras to their parks, the Reveleau and cousins ​​settled in the cove of Canon in Lège Cap Ferret, sheltered from the wind (south wind, rain on the bottom, etc.) in simple wooden huts.

Originally sardine fishermen, the Reveleau, as soon as the parks were opened to production, became oyster farmers. The collection of wild oysters was succeeded by the peasants of the sea.

In 1920, Claude and his ancestors sold the oysters to cooperatives. Then Philippe gave the impetus to marketing in France and Europe.

Neglecting the aluminum plates, Vincent restored his grandfather’s wooden barge and the “Balade sur Chaland” adventure was born.

A fleet of 5 boats take you, over time, to places that are difficult to access in the Arcachon Bay.
This journey off the beaten track is also animated by the passion of these local sailors who love to share their passion for the Bay, their anecdotes… A WHOLE ART OF LIVING

We stroll through this living tableau, a glass in hand, oysters or even with a custom feast that can be served on board.

Over time, weddings, birthdays, meetings are celebrated on the barges.
